Sparrods & Co Team
We use proven and tested traditional shoemaking methods, to ensure excellent quality, fit, and craftsmanship. Our shoes go through an iterative process from design and development through pattern cutting and clicking to lasting, closing and finishing. Every process is completed by hand.
We use both Blake rapid stitched and Goodyear welted construction methods, which enable our shoes to be resoled (repaired) several times by any experienced cobbler, giving you value for money.
The quality of our shoes starts with the quality of our leather. That’s why we only use calfskin leather from some of the finest tanneries in Europe: Weinheimer Leder, Germany and Tanneries du Puy, France. These tanneries have a long history and tradition of producing high-quality leather that meets our strict environmental standards.
Our calfskin leather is soft and supple, yet durable and resilient. It adapts to your feet and conform to your shape, giving you a comfortable and personalized fit. It also ages gracefully over time, developing a rich and unique patina that reflects your style and personality.

We work closely with our shoemakers to design and develop our shoe models, using their expertise and feedback to refine our product offerings. We also visit them regularly to ensure that they have everything they need to produce our shoes with care and precision.
