Purchased back in December 2022, the Albert Tassel Loafers in burgundy have been my go to daily shoes over the last Summer.
Compared to other Blake Rapid Stitched shoes in this price range, these loafers have been by far the most comfortable of all (even beating out a Goodyear Welted shoe that I have). Even after a full day at the office and night out for drinks, the loafers remain reliably comfortable. The midsole with natural cork really makes all the difference in the Sparrods loafers and boots that I have purchased so far.
The quality of the leather is beautiful, feeling sturdy on my feet whilst being supple enough for walking comfort. It shines up really well with a simple routine cream polish.
Especially in burgundy, these loafers pair well casually with linen shorts and a shirt, smart with trousers and a tailored odd jacket, or sharp with a full suit.
